As globalization progresses around the world, Japan has become home to an increasingly diverse range of people from different races and cultures, both in the workforce and business dealings, and in daily life. Perhaps due to this, I have seen a rise in international cases involving English-speaking clients, and I have felt firsthand the growing demand for bilingual lawyers here.

To enhance accessibility for English speakers who may need the services of a Japanese lawyer, I have decided to fully renew the English version of the website. Here you will find descriptions of my main areas of practice – including criminal defense, legal services for small businesses and sole proprietors, inheritance pertaining to Japan, and dispute resolution for civil cases – an outline of my fees, summaries of a few case types by practice area and a basic overview of some key aspects of the legal landscape in Japan on the FAQ page.

I am eager to assist those facing legal challenges in Japan, such as family members arrested in Japan or those starting business dealings with Japanese companies.

I look forward to hearing from those seeking the services of a Japanese lawyer with a wealth of experience with an international clientele. While I am based in Chiba, I also work with clients in the surrounding general area, Tokyo in particular.
